Come help SFPA serve lunch and give back to our local community. Camillus House has provided humanitarian services to the indigent and homeless populations of Miami-Dade County, Florida for more than 50 years.
Established by the Little Brother of the Good Shepard in 1960, Camillus House has grown steadily over the years from a small overnight shelter into a full service center offering a “system of care” for persons who are poor and homeless.
Every service offered at Camillus is carried out with the deeply held belief that every human being is precious in the eyes of the Lord and deserves love, respect and a chance to live a dignified life.
SFPA volunteers will serve lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We ask that that you arrive 15 minutes early to give the kitchen staff ample time to give us proper instruction.
Once registered a Volunteer Participation Release will be emailed to you. The release must be signed every six months. Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age and must be accompanied by an adult (18 years old or older) at all times. Please email Vice President, Summer Marshall at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
