The South Florida Paralegal Association is once again hosting a special Thanksgiving Charity Drive and Dinner for the Miami Bridge Youth and Family Services Inc., an organization which provides 24-hour emergency shelter for runaway, abused, and homeless youth. Miami Bridge has a total of 48 beds between their two campuses in Miami and Homestead. Their emergency shelter program assists youth to gain personal insight, develop new coping skills and adopt more positive behavioral patterns. In addition to shelter services, Miami Bridge provides family crisis intervention, counseling and case management services for high risk youth.
SFPA is also collecting donations in the form of gift cards to be provided to Miami Bridge.
Please mail the gift cards to SFPA, 123 S.E. 3rd Avenue, #367, Miami, FL 33131 or call 305-579-7859 to arrange a possible pick up in downtown area. You can also e-mail e-Gift cards to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are seeking volunteers to help at the event. Volunteers will attend at no cost. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the registration form and direct any questions to email@example.com.
We have been fortunate enough to have had the ability to serve the same organization for several years, and we hope to continue doing so. For more information on how to help this wonderful organization, please visit their website.
